quelques precisions a propos des francais:

• ok so seriously,.. its not just a stereotype.. french people really only wear black or white.. or shade variations of those two colors. MAYBE , if they're feelin spontaneous, they will wear a red or pink.. only the girls of course
• french people love them some yogurt. It's everywhere and my students get a cup with every lunch they eat. and some sort ofr fruit.. like a pear or banana or apple. and BREAD ( the same kind- ones that are hard on the outside)
• Crosswalks don't mean a thing
• THEY ARE OBSESSED WITH PAPERWORK.. and consequently is going to make my life a little more difficult in the upcoming two months
• everyone over here listens to american music and it blows my mind.. Katy Perry of all people- they love her.
• Everyone wants to make sure that I CAN speak french before they want to help me.. But once i have proven myself to them, they all of a sudden want to practice their English and will only speak English.. which is quite usually worse than my french ( at least i hope so)
• when you sit down to eat at a restaurant, the server doesnt try to kick me out after ive finished my meal.. you pay for the table as well when you sit down
• Poop bags dont exist in France ( for dogs) you really have to watch your step when you are walking down the street
• EVERY toilet gives you an option.. you can press the small button and only use a little bit of water or you can push the BIG button and watch the massive vortex of water suck down all your .. stuff

More later.. after i've had more time to experience their little quirks. I move into my apartment on Saturday... so like 36 more hours til i have a home!!!
