I have been very busy this weekend, but... all of that seems very irrevelant to me at this time as one of my very good friends, ( and blog follower nontheless =)) experienced a tremendous loss this weekend; her mother passed away. Please keep Catherine and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Last time I was in Europe, Catherine was right beside me. She has always supported me in our "common passion"- which I guess would be traveling and teaching ( not French anymore, cause she abandonned French to go teach SPANISH! yuck lol!!). While we were in London, Catherine's mother was just as excited about all of our endeavors as we were... and I will never forget her concern for our well being the night we got "lost" on the train in Europe which cooincidentally was the night some bombs went off in London. Both of our families were desperately trying to communicate to figure out where we were, and her mom was by far the most proactive! What a wonderful, bright, and spunky woman!!
I've been thinking bout you non-stop, Catherine! I love you!
And i love the rest of you as well!! Gros Bisous!

RépondreSupprimerYou know how much I hold friends in high regard, so I understand how much this passing is also affecting you. I will send prayers to Catherine and her family and know that she will be depending on good friends like you to help her through this. So sorry to hear about her loss of not only a mother but a good woman.
